Henry Technologies at K 2025 – Experience Innovation Up Close

On October 9th and 10th, 2025, the international plastics and rubber industry gathered in Düsseldorf for K – the world's leading industry event. Every three years, the trade fair offers a unique overview of innovations along the entire value chain: from raw materials and mechanical engineering to sustainable material solutions.

Henry Technologies was also present this year – with Managing Director Bastian Michel on site to experience current trends, cultivate contacts, and gain new impetus for the company's own development.

Focus on Sustainability and Innovation

The trade fair was all about transformation: sustainability, digitalization, and the circular economy are the central themes driving the industry. The progress made in the area of recyclable materials and energy-efficient production processes, in particular, demonstrates the strong growth of innovation in plastics processing.
For Henry Technologies, the trade fair provided the ideal platform to evaluate future material solutions and new machine technologies.

Discussions with Industry Partners

The focus of the trade fair visit was direct exchange with long-standing partners and new contacts. Particularly valuable were the discussions with:

  • almaak (Marc Marmetschke, Burkhardt Reck) – about new material developments in the field of rotomoulding,
  • SAT Thermique (Frederic Seibert-Sandt) – about innovative machine technologies,
  • ROTO Evolution (Frank Neumann, Tino Peukert) – about technical innovations in rotational molding,
  • Gollmer Formen (Alexander Dangel) – about tool development for new projects,
  • and ATR – Haitian (Matthias Poggel, Mario Rathgeb) – during negotiations for a new injection molding machine.

These discussions underscored the continued importance of personal dialogue in a technology-driven industry: Innovation arises when people share their knowledge and work together to find solutions.

Objectives and Insights

Henry Technologies pursued three clear objectives at the trade fair:

  1. To delve deeper into industry trends – particularly in the areas of recycling, material efficiency, and digitalization.
  2. To establish new business relationships – for long-term collaborations along the value chain.
  3. To identify sustainable solutions – that can be incorporated into future projects and product developments.

The overall conclusion is positive: The trade fair visit was enriching in terms of content and strategically valuable. The technologies presented and the discussions offered concrete impetus for the company's future direction. Particularly in the areas of sustainable materials and digitally networked production processes, exciting development opportunities are emerging.

Outlook

With many new ideas and contacts in tow, Henry Technologies is looking ahead: The insights gained will be directly integrated into current and future projects. Attending the K 2025 trade fair has once again demonstrated that the future is built on innovation, collaboration, and courage.

Henry Technologies remains committed to a more sustainable, efficient, and future-proof plastics processing industry.
